Invented and manufactured in Sweden, Truxor is a highly versatile amphibious tool carrier machine that is specially designed to take on tough jobs in challenging environments while being gentle to nature. Truxor machines have been used for over 30 years to maintain and service waterways and aquatic environments, cutting and removing weeds, algae and unwanted vegetation with precision. Truxor, with its various tool attachments, is also very effective at in-water excavation work; cleaning up pollutants and spills; clearing debris; and dredging.
Moving
Truxor can seamlessly move between land and water thanks to its unique amphibious design that allows it to access and work in challenging hard-to-reach areas that are not accessible to heavy machinery. The Truxor machine can be easily transported between job sites on a trailer and simply manoeuvred down steep banks into water. It travels and operates equally effectively in shallow and deep water, over land and even through vegetation.
Cutting
The Truxor is designed to be the ideal machine for arborists working in and around waterways, ponds, lakes, dams and reservoirs. Its extensive range of cutting tool attachments makes it extremely effective at managing aquatic vegetation. Whether you are needing to cut and remove reeds, weeds, grass, flax or even more substantial bush, there is a Truxor Doro Cutter attachment that can do the job - above and below water.
Clearing
The Truxor is a versatile machine, especially when it comes to keeping aquatic environments clear of plant debris, algae, invasive weeds, rubbish, spills, pollutants and other foreign objects. With a variety of different size and functionality rakes, grapples, buckets, catching cutters, skimmers and spreaders, the Truxor makes light work of heavy clean-up jobs.
Digging
The Truxor machine’s Doro Digger attachment converts the Truxor into an amphibious excavator, capable of reaching and working in challenging terrains and sensitive areas that would not be accessible by traditional heavy machinery. The Doro Digger attachment increases the Truxor’s reach for maximum lifting height, digging depth and cutting reach. It is also equipped with a semi-automatic quick bracket for fast tool changing, supporting various bucket sizes, rakes, cutting heads, pumps and even a mulcher.
Dredging
The Truxor can be transformed into an efficient dredging machine by attaching one of the Doro Pump tools and either a telescopic extension or digger arm for increased depth. The Doro Pump is a hydraulically operated dredge pump with a screw feeder that breaks off and feeds sediment into the pump intake. The Truxor can operate as a highly maneuverable amphibious dredge for stormwater and wastewater ponds, rivers, wetlands and other aquatic environments that require regular silt or sludge removal.
